| Twenty20 World CupICC Twenty20 World Cup is the international championship of 20 20 cricket. The inaugural Twenty Twenty Cricket World Cup was organized in 2007 in South Africa (India won the 20 20 World Cup Title). Second 22 20 World Cup held in England and Pakistan Won the Twenty20 World Cup. ICC T20 World Cup can be explained as the international tournament of Twenty Twenty cricket, which is generally considered as T20 cricket. As the name suggests, the 20 20 Cricket game is organized by ICC , the governing body of cricket in the world. The opening 20 20 championship of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup was held in the year 2007, in South Africa, India won the 20 20 World Cup Title. Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2007 prolonged on from 11th September to 24th September, with India winning the championship, after defeating Pakistan by 5 runs (in Johannesburg). Just like the opening episode had, all the tournaments of the 20 20 World Cup will comprise of 12 T20 teams, which will comprise all the Test playing Cricket countries. The Twenty Twenty world cup will held around every two years. Twenty20 World Cup HostsThe hosts of ICC Twenty20 World Cup are determined on the basis of the bids quoted by the countries interested in holding the 20 20 World Cup tournaments. It had been decided that the first two T20 championships will be held in South Africa and England, since they had opted the 20 20 format in the initial stages only. |
